The Polarization of the CMB and the QUIJOTE experiment

I will describe recent results on the polarization of the CMB from ground and space experimetns and prospects for detection of the imprint of the stochastic background of primordial gravitational waves generated during Inflation. I will also report on the status of the QUIJOTE-CMB experiment which is aimed to measure the polarization of the CMB and foregrounds with high sensitivity at large angular scales. This experiment combined with Planck polarization measurements will set stringent constraints on the ratio of tensor to scalar modes.
